Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

2020 has unveiled many flaws in our society, including systemic racism and heinous police brutality that continue to plague the black community on a global scale.

The recent murder of George Floyd sent ripples across the world, invoking activism and engagement from people of all backgrounds who are tired of the senseless killing of black lives under the guise of policing. In response to these atrocities, Jamaican-Canadian artiste Jah’Mila, has used her talent and voice to amplify the stories of these victims with her new song ‘Chant Their Names’. ‘Chant Their Names’ is a cry for change in a system that has failed the black community repeatedly. The lyrics beg for more police accountability in the face of the law, while also imploring all of us to keep the memory of these countless victims alive by 'chanting' their names out loud. This single was produced by Nulobeats and features instrumentation from Charlie Benoit, Teddy Skiffington, Sean Weber and Eric Landry. Video by Charlie Benoit and Jeff Miller. Jah’Mila and her team hope that this song will further inspire positive change in the fight for black equality.
